DAY 01 / FLY TO POKHARA / DRIVE TO BANDIPUR

After breakfast in the comfort of your hotel, you will be transferred to domestic airport for your flight to Pokhara. Pokhara, the rare combination of snow clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers has helped to make this Valley one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the kingdom. Situated in the foothills of the magnificent Mt. Machhapucchre, Pokhara is an enchanting city soaked in tranquility. It is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The serenity of the Phewa Lake, accompanied by the grandeur of Machhapucchre, creates an ambiance of peace and magic. Pokhara boasts dense forests, gushing rivers, lucid lakes and world famous view of the Himalayas.

Upon reaching Pokhara we drive to Bandipur, it is approximately 2 hours’ drive to reach Bandipur. It is situated on a hilltop above the highway town of Dumre (7 km.) Bandipur captivates the visitor with its cultural appeal and pristine scenery. Bandipur Village Newar town has maintained its age-old flavor, and presents sightseers with an exciting mix of history, architecture, incredible views, awesome caves and unspoiled landscapes. Bandipur Village has been described as a natural view tower; indeed, one can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the entire Annapurna range plus the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang from here. Apart from the stunning views of the Himalaya and the Marsyangdi Valley, Bandipur amazes visitors with its geology as much as with its scenic and cultural attractions, and it would be unthinkable not to visit its caves.

DAY 02 / IN BANDIPUR

After breakfast, the rest of the day is to relax or stroll around Bandipur town.

DAY 03 / / DRIVE BACK TO POKHARA

After breakfast at the hotel; transfer from Bandipur to Pokhara, a journey of 2 hours through the countryside.

Upon arrival at Pokhara further drive to Naudanda for 45 mins which is situated 1600 meters from sea level. Naudanda is a small hill having good views of green hill as well as the mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu closely.

Also visit the International Mountain Museum is dedicated to the mountains of Nepal and the mountaineers who have climbed them. The museum displays the history, culture, geology, flora and fauna of the Himalayas

Then, transfer back to the hotel.

DAY 04 / IN POKHARA

After breakfast, visit the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa built by the Buddhist monks of the Japanese Nipponzan Fujii organization on a narrow ridge above the Phewa Taal.

Later, visit the Davis Falls and explore the Gupteswor Mahadev cave. Then, enjoy a boat trip on Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal. Cruising on the lake offers an excellent view of the Annapurna Range. On a calm day, the range is almost clearly reflected on the lake's almost black and glassy waters.

Also, visit the two-story pagoda of the Barahi Temple which is situated in a small island in the Phewa Lake surrounded by marvelous views. This Hindu temple in Nepal is dedicated to Goddess Ajima in the form of a boar called Barahi to pierce her evil enemies with her pointed tusks. Barahi is pictured with the face of a boar with a cup in one hand and fish in the other. Barahi Temple is a very important center of worship for the Hindu devotees and locals as well as tourists constantly visit the temple.

Later drive back to the hotel.

DAY 05: POKHARA / FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU BY HELICOPTER / DRIVE TO DHULIKHEL

Early morning at 6 AM, drive to Pokhara’s domestic airport for a heli tour to Annapurna Base Camp. After about 25 minutes heli ride, land at Annapurna Base Camp located at an altitude of 4200m. Revel in the beauty of mountain views like Ganesh Himal, Mt. Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna, Gangapurna, Fishtail and other several peaks. Stop there for about 15 – 20 minutes (if weather permits), take pictures and fly back to Kathmandu by Helicopter which takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Upon arrival, continue your drive to Dhulikhel.

Dhulikhel - Situated amidst hills and valleys, surrounded by greenery, Dhulikhel is one of the ancient Newari towns that have preserved the Newari tradition and culture. Situated at the foothills of the Pachkhal Valley, it is about 21 miles towards the eastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley on the Chinese built Arniko Highway that leads to Tibet. A 45-minutes’ drive from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel offers the best views of the northeastern Himalayas along with beautiful pagoda style temples. Dhulikhel, which has always been an important trade center, is a place of exhilarating beauty and unparalleled serenity. Also popular for the remarkable view of the sunrise and sunset, Dhulikhel is famous for its vantage location in viewing the Himalayan ranges from Cho Oyu in the east to Himalchuli in the west The Old Town of Dhulikhel is a close traditional Newari settlement with an assembly of fine old Newari houses with beautifully carved windows and doors. There are numerous temples in the town depicting an example of traditional and old Newari craftsmanship of Dhulikhel.

DAY 06 / IN DHULIKHEL

 After a leisurely breakfast and the comfort of your hotel, enjoy the activities (like Bird watching, Meditation, Yoga’s, Pottery etc.) which are offered by the Resort itself.

DAY 07 /: FINAL DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight onwards.
